Orey, August 2010.

“Orey,” born February 14th 2007, pictured at 3yrs in the above photo, and is a lovely young dog.  Very keen to work, shows a lot of promise for a good future in the field.  He now is becoming a reliable dog to work with, excellent at following blood scent and tracking injured game.  He has proved not be a good retrieving Terrier, as “Terrier” takes over, which means the game is sadly not edible upon its eventual return to you!! He enjoys ratting and helping with Grey Squirrel control when we are out with the gun. Bred by  Geoff and Tizzy Woodfield, my thanks to them for letting me have him.

Orey had an excellent first “racing” year, and was awarded fastest “other breed” sprinting champion 2008 over 100 metres, at the Ellesmere Port Greyhound track.  More info here.
